Mozilla launches Firefox Send to send files in encrypted way with self-destruct feature

In August of 2017, Mozilla introduced its beta version of Firefox Send, a service that allows us to send files to other people in a secure and encrypted way.The file link automatically expires, making users feel comfortable with the privacy of their files.

Mozilla has now confirmed that Firefox Send is out of beta and is available to everyone without exception.

Users can share files that expire automatically after a specified period of time. The user can also set the number of people who can upload the file before it expires. The user can even set up an additional password to increase security before the recipient can download the file.

You can send files up to 1 GB. Users who register for a free Firefox account will be able to send files up to 2.5GB.

Mozilla says this functionality makes Firefox Send a better service for sharing sensitive documents and files over the Internet. Because this is a browser-based service.
