Microsoft began working on the second-generation HeloLens reinforced reality helmet a while ago, and the company seems to be ready now to present it to the public.
In fact, Microsoft is now sending invitations to the media to attend a special event to be held at the MWC 2019 Mobile World Congress, to be held next month in Barcelona, Spain, where Microsoft will talk about its new helmet.
The event will take place on Sunday (February 24th) at 5pm CET. The event will be opened by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and will be joined by Alex Kipman.
Alex Kipman stands out in the invitation because of its close association with the HoloLens 2, this is a big hint that the event will be about the second generation of HeloLens helmet.
Experts predicted that the new HoloLens 2 enhanced helmet will have a better visibility and will be lighter, making it more comfortable.
The latest Kinect sensor from Microsoft will also be present in this helmet along with a special intelligence chip that will improve helmet performance.
